By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or entering our premises as a patient or visitor, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. 1. Medical Disclaimer & Emergency Protocol

• No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Using this website or sending us an email does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Such a relationship is only established when you are officially registered at our facility and consult with a physician in person.
• Medical Emergencies: If you are experiencing a medical emergency (such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, or loss of consciousness), DO NOT use this website or our online forms. Call 1122 (Rescue) immediately or visit our Emergency Department which is open 24/7.

2. Appointment Booking & Cancellation Policy

We strive to provide timely care to all our patients. To ensure the smooth operation of our clinics, the following rules apply:

2.1. Online Booking

Our website offers an "Online Appointment Request" feature. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee a confirmed slot. Our staff will contact you via phone or email to confirm the doctor's availability and finalize the time.

2.2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you cannot make it to your appointment, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient who may be in urgent need of care.

• Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, we may need to reschedule you to the next available slot or another day to avoid delaying other patients.
• No-Shows: Repeated failure to show up for appointments without prior notice may result in restrictions on your ability to book future appointments online.

2.3. Doctor Availability

While we make every effort to adhere to schedules, medical emergencies can occur. Munawar Hospital reserves the right to reschedule appointments or provide a substitute specialist in case the assigned doctor is called for an emergency surgery or is indisposed.

3. Admission & Registration Guidelines

To ensure patient safety and legal compliance, the following documents and procedures are mandatory for admission:

3.1. Identification

All patients must provide a valid government-issued ID (CNIC, Passport, or B-Form for minors) at the time of registration. This is required by the Punjab Healthcare Commission and local laws.

3.2. Consent Forms

Before any surgical procedure, invasive test, or admission, the patient (or their legal guardian/next of kin) must sign a "General Consent for Treatment" form. This form confirms that you understand the risks and benefits of the proposed treatment.

4. Financial Policy, Insurance & Billing

Munawar Hospital is committed to transparent billing. However, medical costs can vary based on the complexity of the case.

4.1. Estimates vs. Actuals

Any cost estimate provided by our admission desk is provisional. The final bill will depend on the actual services rendered, duration of stay in the hospital, medication used, and any unforeseen complications that require additional treatment.

4.2. Payment Terms

• Self-Pay Patients: An initial deposit is required at the time of admission. The remaining balance must be cleared before discharge. We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, and Bank Drafts.
• Insurance/Panel Patients: Patients covered by insurance or corporate panels must present a valid authorization letter or card. If the insurance company denies the claim for any reason, the patient is personally liable for the full payment of the bill.

4.3. Refunds

Payments made for diagnostic tests are generally non-refundable once the sample has been collected or the machine slot has been utilized. Refunds for room charges are calculated on a pro-rata basis subject to administrative deductions.

5. Patient & Visitor Code of Conduct (Zero Tolerance Policy)

Munawar Hospital is a sanctuary of healing. To maintain a safe environment for our patients and staff, we enforce a strict Zero Tolerance Policy regarding behavioral misconduct.

5.1. Prohibition of Violence

Any form of physical violence, verbal abuse, threats, or harassment directed towards our doctors, nurses, security staff, or other patients will not be tolerated. In such events:

• Security will be called immediately to remove the offender from the premises.
• Medical services may be terminated (unless it is a life-threatening emergency).
• A First Information Report (FIR) will be lodged with the local police under the relevant laws of Pakistan protecting healthcare workers.

5.2. Noise & Privacy

Patients are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum. Creating a disturbance, playing loud music, or filming/photographing staff or other patients without consent is strictly prohibited and violates privacy laws.

6. Visitor Policy

We recognize the importance of family support in the healing process, but infection control is our priority.

• Visiting Hours: General Wards: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM only. ICU/CCU: Only one attendant is allowed for brief periods as per the doctor's discretion.
• Number of Visitors: Only two visitors are allowed per patient at a time in private rooms. Large groups will be asked to wait in the lobby.
• Children: Children under the age of 12 are generally discouraged from visiting patient wards to protect them from hospital-acquired infections.

7. Privacy & Data Use

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in that document. We take all reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Website Use: Munawar Hospital shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our website, including damages from viruses or malware.

9. Termination of Services

Munawar Hospital reserves the right to refuse or terminate service to a patient if:

• The patient refuses to follow the prescribed treatment plan, rendering the doctor's efforts ineffective.
• The patient or their attendants pose a safety threat to hospital staff or property.
• The patient provides fraudulent information regarding their identity or insurance.

In such cases, the patient will be stabilized and referred to another facility.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms, or the services provided by Munawar Hospital, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Faisalabad, Pakistan.
